The introduction of metallurgical services to N. A. Degerstrom was in 1981. This department was started in order to perform studies, design and operation of precious and base metal projects for the company, as well as outside clients. The testing lab is located in its own separate building at the company’s Spokane, Washington location. Over the last twenty years, the concentration of metallurgical services has been on various areas of metals processing, such as low-alpha lead and tin, gallium, and precious metals.
