LOW ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT:
At Degerstrom we understand the importance of keeping the environment intact while getting the job done. The track mounted MPD 1000 provides a low ground pressure which minimizes the amount of damage to the terrain and makes it an excellent rig to use for the early stages of exploration, giving you the ability to drill where roads can not be built and even small environmental damage must be restored.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY INSURE YOU THE BEST RESULTS:
Degerstrom drill crews are manned by Argentine natives and are trained and supervised by our experienced North American leadership. Our lead driller, Javier Sambuesa, is a resident of Neuquen province and has more than five years experience with our MPD 1000 reverse circulation drill.

SAMPLING IN ALL TYPES OF CONDITIONS:
A number of sampling techniques are available on the MPD 1000, one of which is the hydraulic driven, rotating splitter used for sampling when water is encountered and accuracy is a concern. Sampling techniques can be changed with a minimum of time and production loss.

ANGLE DRILLING CAPABILITY 0 TO 45 DEGREES FROM VERTICAL DEPTHS TO 455 METERS:
A deck slide as well as a mast slide insure rapid and efficient alignment over the hole and at the required angle. A front mounted bulldozer blade serves as a stabilizer on extremely steep slopes to maintain hole accuracy.

MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT:
Degerstrom's reputation has been built on dependability and the ability to service its field equipment. With this in mind our exploration division maintains a complete inventory of replacement parts and tools to support our drilling projects. A late model four wheel drive service truck complete with 15000 lbs / 6804 kilogram crane, compressed air, arc welder, gas torch and a complete inventory of hand tools is on the project site at all times. A portable shop trailer is complete with hydraulic hose, fittings, bolts, and many other needed supplies. For light support, a Land Rover pickup is on site as well
